Galaxy Fold gets June 2022 security update

Samsung has released a June 2022 security update to the Galaxy Fold. The update is currently available in Brazil. Additional markets may gain access to a new software update within the next few days. A different US phone has already received an update.

A new update to the original Galaxy Fold comes with the firmware version F900FXXU6HVF3. It brings a June 2022 security protection that addresses more than 60 privacy and security threats. It also improved device stability and fixed some bugs. Some stock apps can be updated after installing the latest firmware.

If you are a Galaxy Fold user in Brazil, you can download and install a new update by going to Settings »Software update and tap Download and install. You can download the latest firmware from our site and turn it on manually.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Fold in September 2019 on Android 9. The roll-out received a One UI 2-based Android 10 update in early 2020, an Android 11-based One UI 3 update in early 2021, and -an Android 12-based One UI. 4.0 update earlier this year.
